Stan's experience as a creative director spans nearly 40 years. He has developed creative solutions and award-winning work for a wide range of clients including resorts, municipal governments, political campaigns, insurance companies, real estate development projects, healthcare organizations, and universities.
Prior to partnering with GIA agency created Adkins & Associates, Inc.
Stan also served as Chief of the Bureau of Collateral Securities for the Florida Department of Insurance and as Administrator of the State of Florida Deferred Compensation Plan. In 1994 he Co-Chaired the Summit of the Americas Host Committee for Press Relations and served as Vice Chair of the Florida Department of Agriculture's International Trade Advisory Committee. He was also a member of the State of Florida's Privacy and Technology Task Force.
Stan has lectured at several universities on political strategy and message development. He was also a member of the Pew Charitable Trust panel on ethics in elections and is also cited in a university political science textbook on that issue. Outside of the agency, Stan was the principal partner and wine director for one of Miami’s top restaurants for 17 years.
